INGRID
KLEIN ROSKIN was born in
the Netherlands. She survived the Holocaust as a "hidden child"
and moved to Miami, Florida, in 1953, where she still resides.
Ingrid's powerful ceramic pieces are her personal responses to her life
experiences and feelings. Clay is the medium that provides her
inspiration for creative expression and exploration. Her formal
studies in clay began in 1974, and she has enjoyed an ever-widening
reputation as an award-winning and well-exhibited ceramist. Ingrid
proudly says "My mosaics are all hand made. I start with lots of
imagination and a 25 pound bag of clay, then finish them with lots of
love and colorful glazes."
